Can a delayed puberty influence the effects of HRT (for the better)?

I know that the closer of the end of the puberty one starts HRT, better are the results. From what I understand, the best results are reached in girls that started HRT around 18-22 years old (considering a normal puberty). From there on the effects of HRT come slower and so on as aging goes.

On my case, I think I entered puberty later than usual, perhaps because I had an undescended testicle that probably never worked the way it should. For a long time I was far behind the normal height for my age. I only started growing facial hair when I was around 17-18 years old and my face got full of acnes from there to around 23 years old. Is this considered late puberty? I guess so, because none of my colleagues had acnes that late in life, and while I had just some sparse facial hair, most of my friends had already a full beard (away from complaining!  ;))...unfortunately later I got a normal amount of facial hair  :(

I a curious, because I started HRT with 26 years old and I think that changes are coming faster than I expected...I didn't expect to have noticeable feminine breasts after only 5 months!  ;D

It would make sense that if pre- or mid-puberty is better, delayed puberty gives a longer window in which to go on HRT.

That said, I think a lot of it has to be individual... I started at 32 after a normal puberty, and still had fast, noticeable changes. It's possible you're just lucky. :)

Anti-Androgen therapy prior to puberty is ideal. Your breast growth is normal. Good luck.
