Hi, the subject says it all.

I've been been like a ball bearing trying to settle in a metal mixing bowl for a while and I think it is time for me to settle down.   I changed my user name to Rebis today.

I don't know what I am, but I am not male and I'm not sure that 'female' is sticking to me too well either.  It sounds like I'm lost, but I don't really feel that way.

   Gotta go.

Great metaphor!  And congratulations on feeling more settled.   :)

It's a cute name actually.  I like it.  I will have to get used to it though... :)

I like it too.  :)

You could start your own program, maybe call it Rebis and Kelly.

Hey Rebis,

Very cool name. It reminds me of a Star Trek TNG character of the similar name, Reba. He couldn't speak but was psychic. He had people who spoke for him. Interesting thing, the people who spoke for him, some male, some female, represented different parts of his personality. Also he was a great, well known, peacemaker. I think it's an excellent choice of names.

Love always,
Elizabeth

Thanks.  As Rebis, I will feel more free to examine myself in relation to the big old world around me.

I really should have thanked Doc for coming up with it.

Thanks Doc.   :)

You sure "Boston" is ready for you? I do . . .

Glad you found at least one "bearing" you can call your own!

Sorry I haven't been able to "chat" more. Ya gonna fix your "sig"? (details, details)  :icon_bunch:

I hadn't even thought of that yet. I have several changes to make with it. Thanks for reminding me.

Where do you hide out, Kiera?  I've seen you around here and there. Maybe we keep criss crossing.

Signed,

Rebis

Hi Kat!

That was a cute emoticon.

Erm, bye bye, Rebecca, and nice to meet you, Rebis.

Hi Rebis!

I've seen the name change and started to make comments several times, but didn't for some reason or another...(probably the thread in the Androgyne section about us always being the ones to get a thread off topic??)

Anyway, I love the name and I'm very happy that you have found a name that you can live with (at least for a while).

Question:  Does this mean that you aren't "foggy" any more?  I just hate it when people start thinking clearly...it leaves me so awfully far behind...LOL

Hugs.....Laurry
Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.

Give yourself permission to seek your very own personal comfort spot!  If you feel right somewhere in between the gender poles, then for you that is the right thing for you to do!  But, you knew that, didn't ya? ;)

Yup.  The yellow brick road leads back upon itself.

I don't feel so foggy anymore.

I'm wondering how long until the next shift. Or, have I finally found my place?

Ps- This thread is okay to go off topic.     I'll start by saying my GF is making me watch Walker:Texas Ranger. It's a rotten TV show, but a funny cartoon.

I have to read that thread about androgynes going off topic.  I think I'm a big offender.   :o
