Hi friends, I've been looking around this site for a few months now to learn about myself and I just recently came out to my mom, that didn't go well and I'm apparently not allowed to change my pronouns or name but outside of family life I'm already living as a guy. I'm ftm and proud, I'd like to be addressed as Jasper or Ty and male pronouns are appreciated! :3

Hi Jasper, welcome to Susans! :) Congrats on coming out to your mother! If you don't mind me asking, how did your mother respond when you came out to her?
Feel the need to ask me something or just want to check out my blog?  Then click below:

Hello sir, it is a pleasure. I dig both Jasper and Ty but I think Ty may have more meaning for you seeing as your username in TheTypewriter. Very cool! But please correct silly old me if I am wrong.  ;)

A big warm welcome to the family Ty! You have just found the only place you need to be. You will find everyone here full of caring, compassion and the desire to see you succeed in life. Feel free to rant, vent, share good news (we like that a lot), learn or just have some fun and meet the rest of the family. The great thing is you are not alone and now surrounded by people who DO understand you. Here is a BIG HUG  :icon_hug: to welcome you and make you feel right at home! :)

She was fine with it, she hugged me and said she accepted me but it progressively got worse, I'm not allowed to bind, change my preferred name or pronoun or even say I'm trans* and she says I'm just hormonal and going through a phase and sometimes she blames me for bad health related things and that I caused them from overstressing her. So it wasn't the best :T I'm starting my own transition at school though, might as well be who I'm meant to be!

Oh wow!  I wonder what inspired the change.  At last you will be starting your own transition at school though!  :)

Hi Ty!

I hope things with your mom get better soon, but in the meantime, rest assured that the people on this site will welcome you as family.  :)
