Braun X'elle EasyStart Body and Face Epilator

Am I being totally naiive and over optimistic, but would the use of a Braun Epilator on the beard area be excruciatingly painful  and ineffective? Has any other MtF tried anything like this on their face?

After I had been on hormones for a while I used an Epilator on my entire body (except my face) and it has work very well.  At first it hurt, but as the hairs got less and softer it was not bad at all.

I am not sure about using one on my face though.  That was taken care of the more accepted way.

never tried it, but that is what I think about the idea

I use the epilator everywhere but my face and chest, largely because these two areas are being treated with laser, largely because the epilator would be to painful, and not to the effect I want (which is complete hair removal or significant reduction).
