I was wondering what changes happen after HRT has been in play around a year, do our boobs still get bigger (I hope so) - is the fat redistribution done or just getting started?  Is the hair growth stabilized or will we get softer and less prickly in the next year or so?

I am happy about my body changes but would be dissapointed if it's over.

Late starter - 55 years old when it began, and 9 1/2 months into it.  I'm getting nervous I have one solid A and one that's about 70-80% of an A.  Nice legs and butt, too much belly and 5'9 138 lbs.

Any experiences to share girls?

Thank you

Sh'e took the little blue ones.

Four years last month and the fat redistribution and boobs are still going strong. :)  I think my face has mostly settled down (but who knows how I'll feel when I look back at pictures?) and skin softening and scent change were early on and never since. Body hair also disappeared early on and there's not much left to change now. I never noticed much muscle loss, but what there was seems to be done.

Puberty generally lasts several years; I suspect the same will be true for us, at least for the "slow" aspects like fat shifting.

Hi Satinjoy,

I have found literally no barometer for mid 40 year old mtf transitioning info., for some strange reason. But for me, hrt has been a blessing in disguise, a lot more even keeled, and changes happening slowly. The doctors feel that they should go slowly, but better late than never. Changes are modest, going by the book.

Yes- I am only on full stregnth meds (based on what I know is typical) for about a month, the ramp up has been slow and my average serum levels have been fairly low, in the 100's I think.

I think I am continuing to change but it is very, very subtle.

Any other experiences out there with this?
