I got my first prescription and shot today! The clinic was closed so I was going to do it myself, then wussed out and had to have my dad stab me in the leg with it. That didn't end up hurting at all. Big baby for nothin'.

My throat is feeling kinda weird already though. Like I've been sick with a cold all week, which usually makes for a mildly itchy throat. That's a little...soon?

Congratulations! Yeah the sore throat started right away for me too. My voice didn't start changing until about three months in though.

Regarding the throat - it will be a coincidence - no changes will happen in less than 24 hours.

Mine, too, was noticeably deeper at about month 3, so don't get too wrapped up in scrutinising for changes and getting upset if you don't see any after a week - just doesn't happen that way.  Patience is a virtue
