I have created the above Poll to look at the  situation of how we experience transition in the Pre Op state. For myself I have transitioned twice in my life (I am in the second attempt) and in my first transition stages I went through the breakup of a common law partnership with mylong term Girlfriend and then lived for 4 years in a sort of limbo, then met and fell in love with another woman, getting married and subsequently  after 8 years of marriage, when the dysphoria just got to much, eventually breaking down  and telling her that whilst I absolutely adored her, I was incapable of being the alpha male in the relationship and wanted to transition to a female. Like the first relationship, this led to a break up and eventual separation and divorce. I met her a few times afterwards during my first transition period, it in a fairly androgynous state and she commented then how beautiful I looked and how my curves were showing, but that she  would not have wanted a lesbian relationship with me.

I was Asexual before hrt, and thought maybe I could be a lesbian.
After being on hrt for 8 months, I just see myself hetro, plan on survey before I worry about dating.
That's not to say if something comes up I would just say no.

I was very, very lucky. My wife had a tough time for the first year or so, but she stuck it out, and we're happier together than ever now.  (She now calls herself agender, not a cis woman, but for the purposes of the poll I guess that's close enough.) We'd been married 9 years and together 16 when I told her, and I was fully transitioned by our 10th wedding anniversary.

14 years this summer and still going strong!
