I'm having a really tough time finding an endo who'll be willing accept trans-patients under 18. I'm on the border of crying. I have a therapist, and he recommend me to an endo in my area who is really famous with the trans community, he was perfect!, until I found out he doesn't accept patients under 18....

I am transitioning while low on money, but my family is helping. there are surprisingly little endos in my state, and none that accept my insurance, but we are willing to pay as long as I can start on T now.

Waiting until I'm 18 is not anywhere near an option for me, my body still hasn't finished growing and I want change now. I have a letter from my therapist and everything. But to every clinic I turn to.... If you're under 18 you have no "trans-rights"

I'm at a loss and utterly depressed, is there anything I can do?

((Also, any endos in US, GA that accept under-18 patients?))

Since you say your parents are supportive, they should be able to talk with the doctor, and maybe make the appointment for you.

http://www.wpath.org/uploaded_files/140/files/IJT%20SOC,%20V7.pdf Latest standards of care for transsexuals (version 7)

Start reading on page 173-178 of full document (or page 9-14 of the shorter extracted document online), under "Phenomenology in Adolescents"

It talks about assessment and treatment of adolescent transsexuals. Hope this helps. :) You could show this to doctors.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience
