As I have been lurking around I have been noticing a few of the obviously beautiful women have been still seeing a man in the mirror looking back at them. It is one thing I will worry about when I get there. I found this website that will do a virtual facial feminizing for you with Photoshop. It does cost but I think it would be worth the cost to feel better. The author also will give you an assessment. I think this site would be a must read before anybody gets ffs.

The author also wrote a thesis on the subject and the link I am posting goes directly to the part of the thesis that explains why no matter how well we pass, some of us will still see the the man in the mirror sometimes.

I hope it helps

Thanks Hon, I am happy if it helps. I think it was one if your posts that reminded me of that site. And just so you know I can relate to a lot of your posts. And if my end result looks as good as you do now I will be very happy. Now if I can just get the courage to move on and stop over analyzing everything and over researching everything, I might make it to where you are. But that's for another post. Lol

I don't believe in gender binaries so I don't freak out when I see a man, and sometimes make him come out just to see that he's still there as part of my history. But I also know that I come from a place of privilege in the sense that I was consistently mistaken for a woman as a man so I don't have the experience of having to strive to look like a woman.

Alexandra at virtual ffs did shots for me. She was great and quite close. I totally reccomend it.

With that being said, i still see the same dude in the mirror every day.

Not much you can do about that.

Thank you for the review. Too cool to get some real world feedback. I was planning on using that site.

very much so, yep.   In my eyes, I'll always be a big head horsey-face.  As for ffs, I don't know if I could go that route, it scares me more than srs does cause any "oops" or whatever will be very visible. Plus I don't know if I could deal with losing feeling in part of my face for any length of time or possibly permanently.

I am getting used to seeing the real me now. Maybe it has to do with full time, but I rarely see "him" anymore. Sure there is some resemblance, but the more I see myself the less "he" exists. I am happy now with what I see and my life as it is today.  :)

He has been slowly receding into the shadows for me and is gone most if the time. Every now and then he likes to pop up and totally mess with my self confidence.

I could have used this yesterday. I was shopping with my mom and couldn't stop seeing him in the mirrors. It wasn't a fun experience.

For me I'm less bothered by the man in the mirror (although his beard grosses me the hell out)... The issue that crops up for me is hearing the man in my throat. I've had no luck combating him, and the surgery to murder him is well out of my reach.  :(

Hi,

For myself  im an intersexed female , so in my case a part of who i am is and will be the same im both male and female , now how others see me will be for them to judge ,

though im well known there are still and allways will be,   as one woman said to me last sunday im game to be dressed the way i am she thought i was a male i was dressed  in Edwardian clothes 1900-14, as a normal woman so i said to her well im a female , she then said oh, im sorry  i said thats okay,

So by my facial features unless you know me ill come up as a male, and in some respects i am and i have no issues there,  just the way i was born,
