That's great! And really cool that you met another transsexual offline. Unfortunately, I've yet to have that experience (at least not that I am aware of).

Oh, you've most likely met a few others in our community and never knew it. ;D   But really it's wonderful to hear you've found a good friend.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I know a whole lot of trans individuals.  But there's still not one that I could call a BFF.  We all need the kind of loving friend who'd come to our home with a real hug when we're crying.  Guess she'll appear out of nowhere for me some day.

yea it was one of my friends good friends that went bowling with us last night, I was surprised when I told him that I am male to female and then he said that he was female to male I never would of guessed,  he looked awesome for a male and we became such acquaintances since we are both alike except ofcourse diffierent genders lol but the state I live in is so small that im not surprised that I would meet someone like that but if I never opened up to him then he would of never told me.

A coworker from one of our remote offices came out to me over Facebook a few weeks ago-before I was out to her or anyone else at work. When I came out at work, almost everyone of my coworkers (about 6 of them) has known someone who is transgendered.
