Post op-weird shape

Hey everyone,
I've had top surgery about 2 weeks ago and especially in the last few days I noticed one side is a bit bigger. I heard it's not unusual, but the shape is a bit weird to me. The surgeon said he could fix it some months later if it stays like this. I'm going back next friday to get the stitches out I guess I'll just have to wait until that to see what's next.
I just wanted to ask if someone else had this or similar? I'm worrying over it growing back which I know is ridiculous XD I'll try to attach a pic. My phone doesn't want me to.

My left side was just slightly larger than my right immediately after surgery and there were also some wrinkles/folds on the areas in the middle of my chest. I was told that it was most likely swelling and that it would subside.
It did but it took a little over a year. Now, at two years out, the wrinkles have smoothed and the size discrepancy has fully evened out.

Usually, after surgery, there are going to be size discrepancies from fluid retention/flesh trauma/swelling/etc. and only major discrepancies are a concern (like if your left side was huge, it could be a hematoma).
If a long time has passed and you're still noticing more tissue on one side it could be that your surgeon unevenly removed tissue. A revision (which is usually covered) will be in order if that's the case.

The difference isn't that much, my main concern is that under my nipples there's too much tissue left on both sides. I suck at describing stuff, sorry.
My chest looked like someone punched them in the middle, it's still a bit like that but it's evening out slowly. The surgeon said after 3 months he'll remove those fat tissues and puts some under my nipples.
Thank you for the answer, can I ask you how long did you have to wear that compression thing? (my english just gets worse and worse :')
