Hi everyone!
My name is Carrie. I am originally from Los Angeles, California; but live in Portland, Oregon right now. Obviously I am a trans-girl. I haven't started transitioning yet. I am a recovering addict and alcoholic, and my therapist wants me to have more clean time before she will write a Letter of Recommendation to start HRT. I want to get on hormones soon, though. I'm kinda tempted to just order them online and self medicate, but I don't know where to look, or what dosage to start with.

I highly recommend getting other things sorted first as GID is a real doozie compared to the rest.
Be patient for hormones as they are very strong even in low doses so please don't self medicate.
The are plenty of girls in your area who can help out and point you in the right direction.
