Help with a wig!!

Hello girls, I really would like a help from you!!!

My hair is really not helping me at all and I decided to buy a wig, tomorrow with some lucky. Syntetic, because I can't afford very expensive ones.

I would like to know wich one should fit better my face.

My face (as many already know) and with a virtual wig/make-up:

Should i go with brown or blonde? With bangs or not?

I will have to be bold...I don't know what I'll say when I get to there...

"Hello, I would like to buy a wig for ME" (as a boy) Or should I create some silly lie?

And Will I have to style/trim it? Probably it will not fit my head too well, but, again, I am afraid of finding a hair stylist and asking such thing without stating that i am trans.

I say brown with bangs. Just go in as you. You have no reason to be guilty or ashamed about it. I imagine wig stores do quite a lot of business with the trans community. We stimulate the economy!! 🙂 Being full time I have not had one problem yet with customer relations. If you want it styled just go into Supercuts or something and let them do it, they will be happy to accommodate you.

I think the top row third over would be great for you.

I guess I can't be really helpful as I can't tell you 'buy this one' , it is a big pressure and a matter of taste . I can say for sure I like a lot your look from the virtual-wig picture .
I don't know , if you go in the store you really should ask them for all kind of advice and also try many of them and see which one make you look the way you want . I know I sound so fake , and I guess I am , after all if it was me I would chicken out so bad  😉 But you should do it and maybe you should go as 'you' and not as a 'boy' , show your femininity in style / voice / looks and I guess it would be easier and more natural to express your need and be understood . I can't think at a 'silly lie' that would make sense or - even more important - be helpful for you .
I am really no expert , but I know you have to style them. Again , the store should give you more advice .
My 'style' is to buy things online when I am ashamed to go in the real store , but I don't recommend that , I feel like I am wasting my life this way . You could ask them online for more advice in styling it / maintenance and other stuff you are interested in .

Anyway , I wish you good luck and have fun at shopping . You won't need the wig for long anyway , your hair is beautiful and it will  grow in length and volume in no time

I'd say (1) go with something with bangs. This helps hide our foreheads. And (2) get brown, which matches your regular color.

I broke down and bought a wig from fairywigs.com and have been very happy with it.

Personally, I like the last one (lower right).

I agree that bangs helps a lot fo hide big foreheads as mine, so probably I'll stick with one with bangs. The only thing that makes me queston it is that my pic with a virtual wig had no bangs and I think I was looking quite good with it.

Brown indeed will be my color of choice, as it is my natural collor and will match my skin tone and my eyebrows and beard (lol just kidding!!!).

I was also wondering long or medium. I think I'll go with longer ones...the medium ones are almost the size of my actual hair.

And, will my natural hair be in the way fof the wig? I mean, my hair is quite thick and have a big volume. Now thata it is a bit longer, can it be in the way and not allow the wig to fit properly?

As for your hair, be sure to get a wig cap. They will keep your natural hair in place.

PS. Synthetic wigs are good "starter" wigs since they don't cost as must as natural hair so you can experiment for a while.

In SP, on March 25th Street and Harbour Main Slope, there is a gallery, that gallery there is a shop with various types of wigs ... it's a great place to take you several questions.
My one tip, try to choose the color of the wig, according to the color of your eyebrows ...

More or less...the loss of my mother  is being too hard for me, but...at the same time... I wa never free to be myself...it is kind of a weird feeling...

My grandfathers decided to accept me and help me with anything I need...FFS and such...

And I've tried to forget about my loss giving me a chance to come out.

I got a wig and bought some female clothes (not toooo female, and one was on the masculine section, but I founf it very feminine)

The wig needs some adjustment...it is too long.... but therwe was no stylist today, so I'll have to come back later...is it normal to have your hair falling  in the front of your face all the time? This is really bothering me! What can I do to stop it from falling in front of me? I am trying to write on my keyboard, but my hair (wig) is not allowing me!

But I liked the wig! I choosed one without bangs, but I think it fits well my face. What do you girls think?

For some unknown reason I think I am way better live than on a pic...strange!

So, here they go...how bad am I? Can I try to pass this way?

PS: tomorrow I 'll take a few more with proper lightining because now it is already midnght here...

And I know what you mean by looking better live than on pictures , I feel it too , sometimes I feel pretty and I show myself on webcam to other people , then I get so frustrated and sad about what the webcam is showing ..

Humm .. besides staples, you can use a bow (Tiara), a strip type fasteners or those "clip"...
And do not worry about your appearance ... being very feminine  ...
