Spoke with my mom on the phone for almost 2 hours, been a little while since we spoke and all my family members live far away (we've spread across 3 continents), I told her about how my life has been going and how good transitioning has been and how happy I am.
She still messes up pronouns and I think she was a bit sceptical when I told her about being hit on by boys and such but that's OK, she's getting older and she hasn't had that much time to adjust.
Also mentioned that I'm doing great and finally I sent her two photos of me so she had some reference as to what I look like today, 10 minutes after getting off the phone I get a reply to the email, I'll have to translate but here is what she wrote (I'm a bit embarrassed to post this but it's so sweet I can't resist):
