Before I give my introduction I'd like to know how to add my picture? I can't any way how to...... It took me forever just to sign up!!!...Maybe this site isn't for me if that's the case....I'm so GD frustrated right now because of all of this....

Just relax for a second. A lot of features don't start until after 15 postings. Someone will be along shortly with some rule links, just be patient a little while.

A big warm welcome to the family Cassandra! :) I am so glad you found us here and decided to join. I cant wait for your introduction post and hope you are comfortable sharing your story with us. All the information you get here is from REAL people at all different levels of transition, from still questioning to Post Op. Their experiences are very valuable because it comes from living and actually going through different procedures. You will learn what works or doesn't with great tips and suggestions in between. Feel free to rant, vent, share good news (we like that a LOT), learn or just have some distracting fun and meet the rest of the family. Here is a BIG HUG  :icon_hug: to welcome you and make you feel right at home! :)

Hi! You have to reach 15 posts and then you can add a profile pic and don't have to answer more of those questions!

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

A warm Welcome Cassandra... The "things at the bottom" will eventually go away once you have posted more. I think you will find this site quite informational and I look forward to seeing your post. Again Welcome...

I guess I can understand it if it's for security measures...to keep out the transphobes. Maybe I overreacted...it's just I've been under alot lately.

Here's alittle about me. I've been struggling with this since my teens but I was either too embarassed or afraid to do anything about it. I also have been going back and forth with this, like sometimes I know I'm transgender then I think I may just be feminine(I don't want to put guy here)...I do know that from logging into chat rooms as a woman and being treated like a woman as always felt right. I felt whole and more talkative....and certainly more flirty.

And because I've kept putting off doing anything about this it has made my depression worse over the years. But I live AL and the only place to get any kind of help is nearly a hundred miles from me and my van is a gas hog and since I'm in a fixed income I don't much money. Sometimes I wonder if I could even afford HRT...or the therapy sessions....Oh, I should probably give my age..I'm 29.

Hi Cassandra! If you live near a major College or University call their Psychology program and ask about therapy. I found mine at Oklahoma State University and they only charge $10.00 a session. They can also provide letters for HRT. Just a suggestion though. :)
