I love scary games and movies, just sometimes its hard to come across something which shakes me up. I did find one recently though and its so messed up. Ever get that moment when your playing something and you know you have to keep going to get that key in your inventory to that lock around the corner? and your freaking out so much that that middle finger on your left hand just doesn't wanna press down on the 'W' key? Anyway if you like scary stuff its called ' cry of fear ' its on steam. It started off as a halflife mod but its now a stand alone and its free so yay to that. Ow its a FPS too.

I was wondering if anyone had any other scary games that just made them freak? I used to love the silent hill's , just played through STALKER recently too - that was creepy at times.

Amnesia: the dark descent!

This is the scariest game I've ever tried playing...tried, because I freak out so bad that I had to stop playing it or I would have a heart attack!

It's an awesome game! If you want that "I don't know what's next" feeling and the fear to open a door...that's the game made for you! You cannot defend yuorself, just hide and run away!

If you stay on the dark, you start to get paranoid and your screen starts to get blurred and messed up, because you are allucinating of fear!

Project Zero II: Crimson Butterfly. You folks in the US will know it as Fatal Frame II. I played it on the PS2 but apparently it's out for Wii now. That game is just eerie all the way through, and has some very nerve-jangling moments. A lot of it is more psychological than an outright gore-fest.

Another one is Forbidden Siren (also PS2). That game is very creepy and also very "run away screaming", since most of the time that's all you can do. There's a sort of sequel available on PSN, called Siren: Blood Curse. I haven't played beyond the first episode of that but it's more of the same.

Finally, the first Dead Space game. That one is really awesome for making you almost jump out of your skin. The feeling of claustrophobia is almost overwhelming. The series has been watered down a little since then, but the original one does a really good job with the horror. Great story, too.

Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3

i don't know why but rarely get scared on these games, i usually keep focused and try not to be startled by the jump scares, which works most of the time

i played amnesia a little in a friend's house but i thought it was a little boring :x, i think i'm gonna give it another try someday, also, in case no one has seen this one before, so funny!
