Met my therapist today, and it went pretty well. I was comfortable talking to her, and have my next appt scheduled for next week. She wasn't 100% sure of a GID diagnosis at the end of our session, but we covered a lot of non-GID ground, her policies, etc. Mostly today was her getting to know me and my wacky life story :) All in all, I feel good about it and look forward to next week.

Also, once more I have to thank all of you for your support and putting yourselves out there. It's comforting and reassuring to know there are others, and it's very helpful to me to learn from your viewpoints, expectations, and experiences here.
