Shantel : Wait, are you seriously saying that those of us who report being that size without implants are not telling the truth? All I can tell you is, I was professionally fitted at 38DD... (and my favorite bras are 42DDD, but sure, I'll grant you that's "self-sized.")

Incidentally, the cup volume of a 44A is generally the same as that of 38D or 36DD. It's not a stable thing; cup volume increases as band size does. So although you have a broad enough chest to end up in an A cup, that would make you among the group who was reporting an "impossible" size if you were a couple of band sizes smaller. I believe you, though.

I'd even suggest you get professionally fitted as well, since that bra in the bottom shot doesn't look very supportive, and I was *shocked* that the fitter said I needed to go down 2 band sizes to a 38. (I strongly recommend Nordstrom's if you do. They were fantastic.)

I could be out to lunch on this, just going on my own experience. If i'm mistaken then I apologize! The bra at the bottom is something made by the Israelis, it's a B through DD one size fits all, but it's really comfy to wear all day and is a racerback so no straps sliding down. I'm not wearing a bra in the photo with the black top, the one under the white top is a soft underwire. I just think there's a lot of confusion and disparity when it comes to bras and breast sizes.

I do agree that some ridiculous percentage of women (cis and trans) are wearing the wrong size because bra sizing is so confusing, and in all likelihood some of those are in sizes that are too large, but I bet some are also in sizes that are too *small.* And the sister sizing thing is tricky and misleading, because of course your "A-cup" would fit half a dozen breasts of the volume that typically fits in, say, a 34A. I have a friend who's a 28DD, and her breasts are clearly much smaller than mine, even on a very slight frame like hers.

That bra does look comfy, it's true. I prefer underwire these days, but there was a time and breast size/shape when stretchy bras like that were my favorite, too.

I am leaving tomorrow, and busy finishing some tasks before the departure.
Yes. I have to take out summer clothes 2 months earlier.
Probably I can find nice summer dresses including swim suits, shoulderless tops and of course strapless bras at stores of Hawaii.

@Barbie - I would agree with wearing whatever you are comfortable and happy with. If we are wearing things for other than ourselves we are doing it for the wrong reasons.

As far as band size goes I'm 8months in and wear a band size under my chest size to fit the cups perfectly. That's where trial and error comes in. We have to match our unique bodies.

The so called sports bra in Shan's final picture... I notice no difference in support between those and my T-Shirt. I can make comments on sizing but it's different topic. I've tried the range of silicone forms from my natural size now to 3sizes larger to find what works for me.

The lesson I suppose is to look the way that you fell best about yourself.

A truth is that many young women here wear bra pads. In stores, I see various women's tops with pads. As East Asian women generally have smaller breasts, I think these pads are popular here among young women. Then, my wearing A-cup bras would be completely excusable.

But, the urgent issue now is my wearing eye shadow..... I will talk it in other threads...
