breast augmentation / expanding question

Hi,
I have scheduled for the 17th to go in and have an expander installed. I guess my question is that the first place I did a consult with did not mention this step in process. the Docter I have choosen is very well recieved as a reconstructive plastic surgeon and I have little if any discomfort in her path. but felt it wise to ask if any here may of had a simular step in their changes. I am going from a small a to full b i do not remember exactly how many cc of silcone it was but not huge. she is also suspecting several months for expanding the I will be ready for implants end of summer first of fall time frame, anyway any one who may have experience or knowledge about this procedure I would very much like to be sure I am moving forward
