Evvvveryooooone is a knockoooout!

So, I've been known to get bored and chop off my hair from time to time. Doesn't look terrible! Fun pose to block most of the window highlights.

Me and my lil' princess. She insisted on this "photo shoot."

Lil Princess is so cute. I see the family resemblance! This is definitely my favorite pic I've seen in a while!

Your hairstyle looks very feminine. Actually, short hair can look more feminine than long hair.

In the airport, I should show my ID at least twice (ticketing and security check). So far, nobody has said anything on my appearance. I am rather disappointed at the indifference of the aviation and security people to me.

I don't go to this thread very often, and have only posted here once or twice and after looking at all the gorgeous, beautiful and very pretty women I have no doubt why......I'm sooo jealous and I'm shocked at my own insecurities. However, since this isn't a beauty contest, but an arena where we can give each other love, hope, pointers, and compliments if they're deserved. I'm posting several pics because I sometimes feel stuck in one hairdo even though I just got it colored red and cut. Soooo, here they are.

I'd like some honest assessments on my hair. I rarely part it on either side, and it's usually just straight down the middle, especially now, because my dog tore my earring right through my earlobe in February and I wear a little clip to hold the earring. With my ->-bleeped-<-e insurance I'm finally getting a plastic surgery consultation in November, nine months and who knows when I'll actually have the stitches about 1/4" long or less done! So I've been using the same hairstyle in the three center style do's. The question I'd like you ladies to answer is, do you think I'm too old for the side parts and the hair bandsd? I know it probably sounds so vain, (as in, 'who cares, Mira? get over it, lol) but I get tired of wearing the same hairstyle all the time, just like I get tired of the same dress, the same jewelry and the same makeup day in and day out. It's one of the fun things about being a woman. I rarely blow-dry my hair, once in awhile I curl it, but I want to learn how to braid it and other cute things. I can't see myself without earrings till the little ear surgery, so I have to wear the little clip till then, yuck, yuck, yuck. Anyhoo, thank you ladies. Hugs, Mira
These three years have been the best of my entire life
ones I've been able to live without lying
and the only time I've had since the age of twelve
I haven't constantly thought about dying

I think you look very fabulous Miranda. unfortunately I can give you much advice, but I will say if you wanna wear a side part, don't worry if it just a younger women thing. Just do it!

I think you have very pretty hair btw

The color suits you.  I'd love to see it in bright daylight.

QuoteThe question I'd like you ladies to answer is, do you think I'm too old for the side parts and the hair bands?

Not at all.  The side part makes you look far younger, but not like you're trying deliberately to appear youthful.  It's modern, fashionable and simple, and with your long thick hair you're certainly able to pull it off and look natural.  Hair bands, same thing.  Your hair would make many cis-women jealous, so have fun with it.

That's so cute, I love your hair, super cute pic. Mom has also really great taste in video games, pass it to the next generation hehe.

Thanks! I intend to! I've already passed on my taste in movies. The Nightmare Before Christmas is a favorite of hers right now.

Mira, you should come here more often. You bring a beauty and elegance to this thread I'd like to see more often. I think you'd look great with a side part. It's not that hard a style to master either. you'd look great with braids as well.

I know the feeling about having your earring ripped through your earlobe. My left ear is in bad shape near the piercing area. My left piercing is very elongated and about to rip all the way through. Not from any of my cats mind you, but from catching my left earring on a protrusion on one of my shelves while cleaning my house (Yeeeeeoouuwwch!!). :icon_yikes: :icon_yikes: It didn't pull all the way through, but very close to it and then healed that way. With my earrings in I only have a very thin amount of skin holding my left one in. I'm so afraid it's going to rip all the way through half the time I go out without any earrings at all in.

Because of this, it would be helpful if you could let me know what kind of clip your using to hold my left earring in. I feel  naked going out without earrings and I have many pretty ones it's a shame I'm afraid to wear them. If I had some sort of clip, or ear cuff that could give me extra support It would help me out imensly until I can afford to have something done about it.

Thanks in advance.
