Thor

hi all about 20 years ago I had the pubic flap phallplasty, but now due to celulitus infection that keeps coming back and hair growing in the urethra,
both me and the surgeon have decided the best thing to do would be to make a complete new one. I am getting a new one of the arm.
I was wondering what the best under wear would be is it baggy boxers tight boxers or y founts.
I have been told I have to stop smoking for 3 months, I just keep saying to myself cig or dick.

So, you have for 20 years a phallo and urethra? Wow.  And the  infection in your penis or urethra?? Or both? For how long and how? Well you asked questions.

I had a advice to wear the penis up the first month. One day left up and other day right up. So the skin will be flexible. Best is to buy some boxers. Not to tigh ( because bloodflow) and not to loose ( because you can't wear him up)

After a while you can wear him down like most cis guys. Or up of left or right what you like.

Also the doctor told me not to wear jeans the first month, or tigh jeans. Because of the blood flow

Yes, stop smoking for at least 3 months before surgery. I think this is a good advice. I didn't stop smoking 3 months but 3 weeks before surgery. I had bloodflow problem in my urethra. The doctors don't say it to bully you, it is serieus important not to smoke. Smoking is bad (mokay).  Also not smoke a few months after the surgery!

Yes, there are guys who smoke before, even during the surgery recovery, and after without no single complications. But thats luck i think. There are also people who smoke 30 sigaret a day who are 90+ years old without no cancer or whatever.

But we all lknow that smoking is bad. I stronly advice to stop before the surgery yes!
Bye the way: in Belgium you DON'T get the phalloplasy surgery when they suspects you smoke!

Good luck with everything
