ive been wondering I dk what to do since I supposed to be going on a date with a girl to see oculus and I dress like a girl now in public so I don't know how I am gonna go to see it. it is a very scary movie so i'm sure its not a good movie to see as a first date for a lesbian relationship, any advice would be nice.

So whose choice was the movie? Scary movies don't have to be bad for a date, I think. And I don't really understand the question above?

I assume she knows you're a girl, and that you like girls?

actually was my idea, I love horror movies, watched the movie carrie about 5 times but this one is scary u look in a mirror and you see something very evil looking back at you and it even comes into the house after awhile, it was written by the same person who wrote carrie even though carrie is older.

Oh good to know. Another movie for me to avoid ;).

Depending on your date, it might be good. Lol. Maybe she'll get scared, and you can be her support. :)

Aww, good luck on the date.  Just have fun and be yourself.

On the movie choice, yeah, I don't know if horror movies are the best idea.  I mean, it's not bad for everyone, though as someone who hates horror movies, I wouldn't be too thrilled about it, tbh.  Then again, my Dad took my mother to see the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" movie on one of their first dates (I believe it was their first) and they got married with kids.  You never know.  It's more about the individual than anything.  What she's like and all.  Do you think she'd be into it?  Do you know if she likes horror films?  Anything that might give you a clue?

Yeah, if that happened where a girl wanted me to confort her, I'd get super dysphoric. I don't know, i was thinking about going out with this girl, but she wanted me to pick somewhere to go and I founf her on the WFW section and now I'm weirded out and what does she expect me to pay and pick out the place? No. In fact, the whole thing has kinda made me think that though I could date a woman it would have to be a true lesbian totally equal relationship or im the more femme one. I went out with one girl and she like how femme i was til the end and then when we were both femme....crash. But she also changed and wanted a "man." This was so long ago i shouldnt talk about it. But I think I'll stick with my comlicated relationship with my BF (Boy friend or best friend, you decide? I can't). Or stick to guys in general. I love penis and, girls are great, but when I see them, I think, hmm, i want that dress, take off those uggs, wear some damn pants and take off those PJs its daylight, eww, that shirt...try again, OMG, ilovelovelove your whole style...stealing it

well I don't know if shes gonna like it, the previews scared the heck out of me and ive seen tons except for Friday the 13th those movies are stupid, it looks very scary I may just go with my father instead and see a comedy with her since I don't want her to feel uncomfortable.

I don't know about Italy, but in America i don't know a single girl that doesn't love horror movies. In fact, women were instrumental in the devlopment of the genre: http://theweek.com/article/index/251519/girls-on-film-10-horror-movies-you-probably-didnt-know-were-directed-by-women

Best idea is to ask her if she'd like to see it. When me and my SO go out, we usually pick movies that we both will enjoy. The last time we went to the movies, we saw 300: Rise of an Empire. Oculus was a preview.

How comfortable are you both in your own skins?  Because unless you have nerves of steel and ice water in your veins. Either of you will jump and will need to be held and comforted by the other. Besides isn't that half the fun of going to the movies for a date ;)

Is your question about the choice of movie, or about being seen as lesbian?
If it's about being outed, don't hold hands til the movie starts.
If it's about the movie, ask her. You may have to sit thru' some bad movies, it's called dating.
Good luck!
