I'll keep this one short. There is one thing that continues to haunt me no matter how much progress I make in my transition and that's bad lighting. I swear to god, every time I look in the mirror and feel bad about my appearance it's because of bad lighting. It can seriously kill your self esteem. At my highschool, pretty much the entire campus is lit by these disgusting florescent tube lights that love to bring out every little flaw, and it doesn't help that they cast horrible shadows on your face that completely throw off your appearance. It kills me. I'll look in the mirror in my bathroom and I'll think, "damn, you look nice." Then of course you head to school and check your reflection in the bathroom and you look like the sith lord. Sorry for the rant. I just had to get it off my chest. Also, to the guy who invented those reveal-all lights, "f**k you."
