How noticeable is eyebrow threading?

There's a TG shop near where I live that does makeovers and I really want to give it a try.  But my eyebrows are a manly mess.  I thought about going to some salon to get them threaded?  The problem is, I'm still in the closet and I live with my parents, so I'm really worried that they might notice the difference in my eyebrows.  My question is, how noticeable is it?  And do they have different types of eyebrow threading?  Obviously of course, I'd love for them to do it as femme as possible, but that's probably not going to work.

I had mine waxed and nobody noticed. Or nobody commented. Of course, I wear glasses a great deal of the time (for very close work or for driving; my vision is ideal for computer work - go figure).
