Had Therapy today... Serious Happy Tears

So today like every Thursday I have a therapy session... Today was truly the first time I was crying my eyes out. But it wasn't about some horrible event in my life or something like that, I have learned to deal with those. During our session my therapist told me that over the last two months she has seen a new me rapidly coming out and said she totally seen Veronica and not my alter-self anymore. I totally broke down sobbing my eyes out... I was totally speechless. She also said she felt as she was totally talking with the women I am and no longer talking to a man. I swear I cried happy tears for about ten minutes... So today has been a real milestone for me. I swear I am still walking four inches off the ground...

I am so glad you are making progress and had the courage to face yourself. When the dam breaks, it breaks and sends the land healing waters downstream fast. Congrats!

congratulations! it was really nice of her to recognize and point to you that you are changing, sometimes it's hard to realize it by ourselves, especially when we are dealing with the dysphoria, and it's an amazing feeling to be recognized as your true self by someone else *hugs*

i'm not much of crying, but the only time i did it was when i called my mom into the room to come out, that was intense as well

Thank you everyone for your warm words of encouragement, but I have to give credit where it is due. I honestly think if it wasn't for Susan's and all of you here I would not be even close where I am today. You all have been a true inspiration for me. I also know this journey is just beginning, but it's looking better every day.
