Ode to the 997

I once was a fan of the tri-top
for it's ease and simplicity
or was it just because
it reminded me in style of a sports bra
but then I had this change
my office at work had moved
and now in must shirts be tucked
and the muffin top tries to rule
so wednesday I could stand it no more
and that night I forked out the cash
and a 997 I did order
with hopes it was delivered fast
in Louisiana I do live
and a small town at that
here Friday rolls around
and the 997 I do have
yes less than 48 hours
from clicking the submit button
it's in my hands and I must wonder
will it be all I hope it will
so on the binder goes
that contortionist dance we know
and once it all is adjusted
to the mirror I hesitantly go
the muffin top has vanished
flat and smooth my sides now are
belly too has vanished
and so very happy I now am
why I didn't switch over sooner
is something I don't know
but goodbye to all the tri tops
you needed replacing anyway
I don't care about summer
this is why I have AC
for this silhouette and flatness
some extra sweat I will endure
may you all be so lucky
to find that one style that makes you smile
for me it is the 997


*not exactly a poet...but damm.....nothing juggles and wiggles and I look like a stocky guy from the neck down before even adding a shirt so very very very happy*
