For those wondering, Devlyn's goodbye post was removed because we do not allow messages of that type, and it has been policy since long before Devlyn joined the staff on my site. We especially do not allow goodbye messages from people who have gotten in trouble on the site. She also referenced another site which was a hook to get people to ask about it thus giving her advertising on my site. The staff properly removed the message.
