I'm sooo excited! I have my first laser hair removal appointment next week ;D!

I do have one question. Do you need less sessions while on T and DHT blockers (no E until I get a letter)? Or is it around the same amount of sessions that a normal man would get?

I'm just ready to get rid of this horrible facial mess :P!

Congrats! :)

Starting your HRT with T/DHT blockers and E will over the course of a few months reduce your facial hair so thusly reduce the amount of hair you'll need to remove. In a few months it reduced mine (which wasn't much to begin with) at least by half.

However it also turned a lot of the facial hair I still had into a kind of blonde peach fuzz type facial hair, not the typical dark thick facial hair men have. With blondeish hair and lighter skin it's a little more difficult for the laser to be able to focus on killing the follicle.

All in all though I had great results. You probably won't see too much difference by your third session, the laser has to kinda hammer the follicle away. But always make sure you spread your sessions out by at least 3 weeks for your skin to heal, drink plenty of water, and especially getting into summer get as high as an SPF sunscreen with zinc for your skin.

Thank you, the tech said my sessions will be 4 weeks apart. I noticed on Finasteride alone, before T blockers, my facial hair turned a ginger color.

Just make sure you shave as close as possible and time your shaving session as close as possible to your appointment. I learned that the hard way but I had a lot of terminal hairs at the time. You know the ones that creates the nasty beard shadow. So even if I had shaved closer to my appointment, it probably wouldn't have made much of a difference. That first session was extremely painful for me.

Hope yours is as pain free as possible!! Best of luck to you!
