So I am wondering if anyone knows the approximate cost for just the (Male to Female Gender Confirmation)  surgery for these 2 doctors. For Suporn and Brassard.

I am still getting the money together and I want to figure about how much I will need. Does anyone know the current prices..?

Think Brassard is around 19,500 (Canada dollars) Surgery, Hospital, After care, meals at the residence. You pay to get there and home rest is covered.

edit, just looked and that is about 17,900 usd.

Chettawut In Thailand (same procedure as Suporn) costs around 10k usd without hotel / food during recovery - So factor in about another 5k to cover costs and flights.

He charges 535,000 baht now which is about 16,500 usd. But I'm afraid his dates are very full and he may not be availiable until Feb. 2015. Also he may increase his price at Jan.

Wow that's a long time lol I guess if you don't hurry you would get your SRS even after Finding Dory comes in the movie theaters HA HA HA! (Ellen Degeneres approves this)

(Remember the exchange rate, too - at the time I went, Canada's dollar was actually worth slightly more than the US dollar, so it cost me *more* than Brassard's list price [argh]. But generally both the Thai and Canadian currency is worth less, meaning there'll be an exchange-rate "discount" for US customers.)

Brassard's cost is all-inclusive : 1 night in the B&B, 2-3 day hospital stay, 7-8 days in the recovery residence, 24/7 nursing care and food provided in both, and all supplies including medications. There's also a car to pick you up at the airport/bus/train station and a shuttle from the B&B to the hospital. The only costs not included will be travel to and from Montreal and a place for anyone to stay if they come with you.

Since I used a fortune in KY and disposable underpants alone, don't underestimate what the "all supplies" part is worth. ;)

I believe that includes all your medical supplies during your whole month there and meals when you are at hospital for seven days. Of course clinic staff comes to see you at your hotel everyday, also your transportation to many places provided by them if I remember correctly.
