At the grocery store this kid 10/11 years old as I walked by she said to her mother"my god she's 6 ft tall" I thought it was funny the way she said it. It's true I probably was over 6ft tall with the heels I had on. Jesus I think  a lot of people were looking, that's the trouble with being tall you definitely draw attention.

Finally mustered up the courage to talk to the HR people at work and come out. I was so terrified the whole day, but when I did it it went rather well and there was no reason to even worry. Now I just feel super calm and excited. I'll be sleeping well tonight!

I'm so happy for 2 very special friends. These two women have helped me so much with becomming a woman. They listen to me on my rough days & my nice days however they are always my true girl friends. One I've known since grade school. It is so nice to enjoy estrogen & feel so much better about myself each day as I improve my body & my life.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

I am just happy.. happy to be in transition and going to be myself.  Never dreamed this day would come but full time is coming fast.
What really made me happy was to schedule FFS on December 18th.  I am ready to get that done and get healed up.

Today the endocrinologist told me to put away the purple pills and start taking the blue ones.

Also, my Sweetie bought me a present, a bath caddy that will hold a glass of wine or a cup of tea and a book while I soak in the tub. I love to soak in the tub!
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

I'm going to start the Atkins low carb diet. Liposuction is not the right answer to having a nicer body. If anyone has used it please post your results.

a trans friend helped me out of my stressful early-transition doldrums by being there and talking with me.

I don't know how anyone can go through a transition without friends as safety nets on those days when it seems hopeless.  I don't have many friends, but the friends I have are more valuable than gold to me.

Your friends have problems also, please try to help them as much as you can so friendship is a 2 way street. Sometimes we think our gender problems are more important. I also treasure my GF's.

I got a call for a job interview on Friday for a seasonal associate position at Kohl's. I'm nervous because I filled out the paperwork as my preferred gender to-be, but I am still mostly living as my non-preferred male gender and I don't know if I can go to the interview. I don't know if I pass enough to be at a job for an extended period helping customers and such and the possibility of facial hair growth and all the other worries ....... thoughts????

I started in earnest the Atkins low carb diet today. It seems to work for a lot of nice women. I weighed & measured myself to keep a record. The bad news was, I'm overweight some not too bad but the good news was that I definetly have nice B cup breasts from the formula used to measure bra size. My little breasts look very nice, nice nipples, even growth, they are starting to fill in my bra. So I'm a happy girl today.

Had my annual physical, two days post my second endo appointment. Told my doctor my issues and he discontinued my Losartan/HCTZ. He says the Spiro is doing the job. Yay!

Then he complemented me, saying that, at three months on HRT my outcomes are much better than he had a expected.

There you go, medical confirmation (as if I needed it) that I'm a girl. Seems that most of my medical problems were caused by people thinking I'm a guy.

You won't gain the confidence without trying. The best things come with risks, and if you believe in yourself, you will be successful.

Confidence is the key to ANY interview, no matter what gender you are, present as, or anything in between.

They just want to see that you believe in yourself being helpful to them.

Therapy today. I really opened up and I have new things to do. Coming out to parents is next.

Dressed up on the fem side of androgynous and got gendered fem anyway, even had people holding the door and letting me in elevators first. :)
