What made you happy today?, for MTF members please

Today I went to my beauty therapist and I had a deep cleanse and chemical peel facial. My beautician said to get the full benefits of the facial I shouldn't put any make-up on  until tomorrow and not even wash tonight, although a Red Ruby lipstick and lip gloss was OK. I then went to a Shopping Mall nearby and had my fingernails painted this coral orange colour (its one of my recommended colours from my Colour Analysis chart). Anyway after I had had the nails painted (3 coats plus top coat) they put my fingers  in a air dryer. Sitting next to me was a woman (less than 6 inches from me)  that was drying her toenails. We started chatting and  chatted for over 20 minutes about all sorts of stuff, including relationships (she was divorced) and men. After we were both finished she suggested we exchange phone numbers, but before I did I said just to let you know I am TG. She was absolutely amazed and said that she didn't believe it as she said there was absolutely not a hint to she was talking to anyone other than another woman (and this is without any foundation, eyeshadow, powder  or even mascara. Just one of my colour analysis recommend lipsticks. She just couldn't believe it and said  but your skin and complexion is so soft,
I felt a million dollars and we exchanged numbers.

Talking to my Mom about a trip Im gonna get started on tomorrow that will culminate with me seeing her for Christmas

The fact that the conversation revolved around her baking Christmas cookies and talking about her grandchildren and family... We also had a nice conversation about yoga pants, men, and GCS plastic surgeons and insurance

Oh yea a year ago she got me warm male clothing and socks

Not anything related to being T, so I went out with my bf to have a walk in the mall and got tasty ramen for dinner, and cheesecake as desert, which was really nice

You reminded of me and my mom 4-5 years ago, she was originally very against me being T, but once she saw how much happier I was, and that the therapist we went to together validated that transsexualism couldn't be "fixed", she became accepting and ultimately supportive. I love my mom.

5km run and outdoor gym work in the pleasant 30 degree sun. Nothing like a bit of sweat to work of the frustration of dealing with cowards. May fit into some more clothes yet!! 

And yes I used plenty of sun block!

Had my doctor's appointment and she informed me that once again I have lost weight. 11 pounds this time.

She also gave me the letter to start the process of getting IDs with the right gender marker. I read the letter and saw "Ms." next to my name for the first time. That definitely made my day ^^

In Canada we have a points card for the cinema called SCENE points. Anyways my new card with my female name came today. I was happy to get it. It's a small thing but it made me really happy to see my name on the envelope. I even double checked my name to make sure it was spelled correct.

Today I met with a old friend and it was great to reconnect.  Then I had a first session with a makeup artist that is teaching me all about makeup.  I felt very pretty

I love how things have changes over the past year.
Yes there has been some crap but the good thing outweigh the bad for once.
I am so much happier now and I love my baby boobies.
The rest is just life.

I got to have lunch with my extended family on my mums side and dinner with dads side of the family. It is amazing who is related when they come out of the wood work for an xmas get together. Oh and I got a samsung s5 phone, a box of chocolates and a silver necklace that I have been begging for, for xmas yeay!
