April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

Nothing specifically TS related, but important nonetheless.

Today it's having people stand by me ... despite my having made huge and stupid mistakes.

I do not feel deserving at all, and I won't elaborate. But to be shown grace despite it all makes me feel ... loved, and not alone.

A good day for me.  Nothing special really, headed out to do some shopping on my old Hercules tricycle (I don't own a car as I'm not allowed to drive anymore because I have borderline narcolepsy and I fall asleep behind the wheel.  Pedal powered vehicles are just fine though)  Was delighted to discover that the local Four Square has those nice locally grown mandarins in that I like.  Chatted to one or two local folk I know, had a interesting chat with a chap on a classic old 10 speed bike who took an interest in my tricycle.  Rode back home and got inside just before it rained.  Life is good.   :)

Cool, Lady Smith. Have a great day. Just love it that you ride a tricycle to go shopping. Great for you. I love bicycles however I have not ridden mine in years, maybe I should clean it up & use it some.

Short background: I run a league for kids, I also play in that hobby and play online.

Anyhow I let them know that I am transitioning and with-in a couple of days my Username was changed without an issue. This sets it up for me when I get my name changed for it to be without issue and quickly. :)

This morning I when I tried to put on a bra that was a little too big a few months ago and now it fits and I'm starting to get some nice cleavage :) I now have a new favorite bra :)

Haha I love when that happens... I'm quickly outgrowing mine too and cups not band so I know it's not me getting fat or bigger or anything just the girls moving on up.

I had my consultation for laser today.  She said I'm an excellent candidate for laser and gave me a demo run and I handled the high levels well.  I call her in 2 days to set up my first appointment! Squee! My wife said I looked a kid in a candy store I was so excited.

I have been put forward for a promotion. It's about a year ahead of when I thought I would be ready but hey-ho I'm not going to argue. It'll put me one level down from board level which is at least moderately surprising, all things considered.

Rosie
Well that was fun! What's next?

Congrats! I am liking laser a lot. My face is baby smooth 1-2 weeks after.

Saw a shirt for Jill in Hot Topic. It said, "let's cuddle and listen to METAL!" Tempted to get one for myself.

my boyfriend got a giant ice cube out of the freezing and started chasing me and put it up my shirt making me all cold...so like five minutes later he asks me to get him something and I got it (forget what it was) and I took the ice cube back out of the freezer and surprised him when he wasn't looking by putting it on him...good times ;D

Came out to an old friend today. It could not have gone better, except that I once again convinced him I was going to tell him I was dying. I need to work on my delivery.

In the summer there is a magical minute that happens when the sun shines through the front window of my apartment, all the way through the living room, hallway, bedroom and on me where I'm lying in bed, it's the best way to wake up :D

Today it happened for the first time this year.

Woke up early and started cleaning the house. My stint as housesitter will be done at noon. Efficiency makes me feel good, as dose finishing a job done well. But the thing that's making me happy is that in just amfew hours my Mom will be up from New Jersey to pick me up. I can't wait to see her and get to talk!

Cleared all but my chin / lower lip at E3k today. It was not as bad as I worried it might be... tho maybe I'll feel differently tomorrow when the swelling sets in.

Going back tomorrow for the chin. Woo!

Well, I've had an absolutely rotten week to be quite honest.

The upside came from an older gentleman, a lifelong rockabilly, who has worked at the supermarket I frequent for years. He had met and spoken with the 'old me' on several occasions.

So, a few days ago he stopped me and said:

''With all due respect - I have watched your metamorphosis, and when you came in just now and flicked your hair, my thoughts were not polite!''

I said:

''I am really flattered, thank you. Especially since I like older men!'', and I smiled and touched him on the elbow.

I must have made his week. A huge smile covered his face, and he said:

''Aint that the truth, baby, aint that the truth!''

LOL!

I bet you did make his week Sarah, because it sounds like his comment turned yours around.

I've been floating since this last weekend.  I meet Eva Marie for a late lunch and some outlet mall action, then headed over to Jill's house for a Pizza party.  Jessie Ann was there as well.  Great wine, food, conversation, and company (not necessarily in the order of goodness) was enjoyed until late.  My long drive had me laying over at a motel.  With an early start I just made it to church, wearing the same dress I had on the day before (a Black/White Calvin Kline sleeveless sheath, black cardi, and nude hose).  I was warmly received wearing a dress for the first time, and went home with some flowers.  Much love to all you ladies,

I'm reluctant to start a thread about it ... but something amazing has just happened.

My week has been so distressing because I may well be about to lose my treasured job. As you can appreciate this is potentially a big, big problem.
---

I have just come home from spending the evening with my parents. It's the first time I've seen them since I hit them with the bombshell that I was about to transition ... a year ago.

I honestly thought they didn't want to know me anymore.

But all of a sudden - they have totally accepted me. They even make a big effort to call me Sarah.

Mum even said that I looked really nice.

Pinch me, am I dreaming?

I expect a tsunami of emotion will land on my shore soon ...

Take it while you can get it, Sarah. Even crumbs are better than nothing, believe me, I know.
