Which laser?

Im thinking about starting with laser treatment to get rid me of the beard.

I have heard that there is different types of laser - IPL etc.

Can any one tell me which is the best to go for?

I saw a home laser device? Do they work?

I woulnt risk a home device for love or money...  well, maby for both of those but not one or the other LoL...

So far as the best type... depends on whats being offered in your area and the expence...  generaly speaking if there using one of the newst types then your in good hands... if they are cheap and use older machiens *shrugs* you save money in the short term but loose out in the long run...

ALso remember, the for the most part lasers work primarily on darker hairs... some of the newer machiens work on the light and non pigmented ones too, but only when used over a long period of time...

Can any one tell me which is the best to go for?

I can personally vouch for the LightSheer. The Coolglide is similar I believe.
