Hi Lane,

Congrats.  :D  When did you schedule the surgery?  Is it really only a several week wait from the time you call them up? (I assume every surgeon is different, but just wondering)

I just scheduled today, though I've been in contact with the surgeon for several months now. Medalie is excellent, he's just not as well known yet and therefore isn't as booked up. :) He actually had an opening next thursday but I'm flying from across the country so that didn't give me enough time to get tickets.

Congrats and Best wishes, Lane.

Do you have anyone going with you to help with clearing drains and changing bandages, etc., while you're in the hotel setting?

If I remember correctly, that was a twice a day thing.  The drains came out before we came home, but the bandage changing continued on for a few weeks.
