Hello! I'm Jack. I've been using my preferred name and pronouns socially for about five years now, but at work I'm still closeted and I didn't pursue medical transition for lack of money and because of ongoing health issues. Now the health issues are... well, not completely sorted, but under control, I have an appointment next month to discuss making planes for hormones and possibly even surgery, as well as plans in the near future to quit my job and make a go of it as a freelancer.

I feel like I'm a few steps away from everything changing radically and I figured it might be good to find a place where I could talk about it with other people who would get it. Nice to meet you all.
