stepdad doesnt like the transness

I walked home with my boyfriend like i usually do because we only live about 3 miles apart. It was like any other day but this time he came inside because it was windy and hot with a annoying sandstorm blowing. My parents were home and i wouldn't dream of letting him in without any parent there out of respect for the house. He stayed a while to wait for a ride because of the weather. After he left my stepdad pulled me aside and said he was mad. I wondered why because i respected the rulez and such but he said he didnt like it because my sister was home. My sister is three btw. He said it was too confusing for two boys (im a girl thank you very much -_-) to be together and to be that "close" and didnt like that we were together. Somehow it was a confusing and out of the ordinary influence he said. And furthermore he said my transition to him was hard to accept.   Is this my first experience with trans/homophobia (even though im technically straight) its very confusing and saddening to me. Ill always try to handle this with a calm demeanor but it hurts me a bit. I dont expec5 tim to just magically except me, but it doesnt mean it doesnt hurt. Why cant i just be a normal.girl with the white picket fence and the golden retriever..... uggggggggghhhhh

Sorry, I feel for you.  I wish more parents were more accepting of who there children really are rather than trying to force them into being something their not.  I'm wondering how my mom will react once I have a boyfriend.  Something she's been expecting for a whie, but nevertheless will freak when it happens.  It makes no sense.  Sorry you are going through this.  I hope your step dad comes around and becomes more accepting of you.
