Breast shape and uneven development?

Hi all.  I have been on HRT about 7 weeks, and I have very definite breast development.  However, I have two questions that I wonder about.

The first is that my right breast seems to be growing faster than my left.  I hear this can happen for lots of people, but how long does it take for the other to catch up, and is there any way of knowing if it will?  Why does this happen?

Secondly, does the breast shape in depend on support?  I have been wearing a sports bra most days because they are so tender they feel better when they are pressed close and it helps in the New Hampshire cold, where I live.  But I want to know if they will grow differently if I wear different bras.  Will wearing a tight fitting sports bra change the shape in anyway as opposed to a different bra, or perhaps no bra?

Sorry if these questions are naive, but honestly, having breasts is pretty new to me, and I don't have very many people to ask about this stuff.

Don't know why this happens but eventually, the other catches up. In my case, it took a few weeks, 5-6 weeks. Was so happy when it did cause I thought something was wrong!

I think it has something to do with the muscle mass. Like for me I'm right handed and my right boob is noticeably smaller than my left so I'm thinking it takes longer to develop the tissue through denser muscle.

It's the same for me. The difference is subtle, but noticeable. I've actually heard that symmetric breast development is the exception rather than the rule for both cis and trans women.

But I'm at a low low dose right now, and it's only been a little over a month

My Left breast is slightly bigger than my right breast I'm just like a lot of cis girls with one breast larger than the other ..

Dominant, non-dominant side?  hmmm, I'm left handed, but my right breast is noticeably larger, faster, better developed than the left.  7mos, herbally-grown, and do not hurt, but oh, how they itch like crazy!  Friday, I have my first Endo appt, for what will hopefully my getting script-based E and Spiro (maybe)!

its actually common in cis females to have one boob bigger than the other, its just more noticeable when the boobs aren't that big, sadly being born with xx chromosomes lol I have that same issue and cannot wait to just have them gone, when they get bigger it will be less noticeable, but honestly no one notices or cares, I hope this helped a bit, and welcome to the world of estrogen with nipples and breasts becoming more sensitive lol I honestly think what your experiencing is normal even in cis females, hope this helped

My left is bigger than my right for sure, but here is to hoping it will even out! I read somewhere that nearly a quarter of women have measurable asymmetry in their breasts, so even if they don't that would be natural....but, I would like it to be symmetrical.

Mine are normal too although at first, my right got sore before my left and tended to be bigger, more developed.

In the off chance that any of us end up not having boobs that fit properly in a bra because of one being bigger/smaller than the other, what then? I know they make bras for this problem but does it make your chest look lopsided when you're dresses up?

Just curious thought. I don't think I'll run into the issue myself but a curious thought.

Many girls have breasts that don't match completely.  Usually the difference is not enough to notice with a bra on. I do know a girl who had to put padding in one cup of her bra to even them out.

Right started ahead of left for me (I'm right-handed if that means much).  At five months in they're pretty much even as far as I can tell.  I don't care about asymmetry or small size so much, I'd just like them to not look weird.  Right now they are not into 'A' territory yet but they look attractive-enough.

Mine are equal the best I can tell. I am not huge but growing (ichey) and sore. I do notice that one
gets itchy or the ariola bud more hard and sore (more sore) at a time, mostly.

Yeah, as everyone says, a bit lopsided is normal. One thing to keep in mind is that the bigger they get, the bigger the *difference* also has to get in order to be noticeable - A cup on one side and a quarter cup size smaller on the other is a lot more obvious than a B cup and ditto, and so on. So this is the sort of thing that's blatant early on in development, and then generally sort of fades away even if they don't even out perfectly in the end.

Someone who's really asymmetrical, like a couple of cup sizes' difference, will have issues, but that's a lot less common.
