As your hippy friend, I would like to wish everyone a happy May Day. Whether you are left or right wing, blue or white collar, rich or poor, I think it's important to focus on how important the workforce is to this world and how we all contribute (or have contributed) something to society through it. I hope everyone can focus on how their contributions in the workforce helps make the world go round and allows society to function as well as it does. So be proud of your hard work (past, present and future)! That's my non-political spin for the day that can maybe unite us all for the holiday.
