Just Ole Me

Anyone experienced their lips becoming fuller from HRT?  My lips are kinda thin so I'm hoping HRT might help.

Thanks

Kay
Just trying to find comfort in this "shell" that doesn't fit.  But I am "remodeling" the shell finally!

Mine got noticeably bigger in the first 2 months of HRT, but in the last 3 I haven't noticed much difference.

Mine have for sure and Im 2mths HRT/6mths Tblockers(mind you my girls started to bud on just t-blockers), but maybe Im lucky? Also i always wear lip plumpers, whch helps even more.

I had very full lips and now they are more reasonable, so no I would say it's been the opposite for me.

Unfortunately after many months of low dose hrt my lips are only slightly more plump.  A  lip lift helped with the upper lip but my lower lip is still extremely thin and I need to think of a solution other than filler

Going on 2 months here and my lips are definitely fuller.

I don't understand the evolutionary reason for why women would have fuller lips than men - either!

Mine got fuller as well and dry more easily. I find myself using lip balm a lot more these days.

As for the evolutionary reasons for fuller lips, maybe it's just a sub-conscious "attract a mate" trait? Maybe a sign of better health?

I like my lips, but I'm hoping hrt will make them bigger. I've read that they can increase in size due to fat accumulation.

Mine have gotten thinner and dryer, but also strangely, more narrow,  the corners of my mouth grew together and closed making my mouth smaller. That was odd. I was/am also taking Retanol which accellerates skin cell turn over too so that was a contributor too.

Not really. I hate my lips...

Mine are pretty full but have only gotten fuller over time. From an evolutionary standpoint, the lips are the most visible signs of sexual fitness in women. The fullness of the lips is tied to consistently high estrogen levels, which is why they're considered more attractive. There's also the theory that they resemble and remind men of vaginas, and the redder and fuller they are the more they're indicators of readiness for copulation.

Brow thickness as you all know is indicative of testosterone, but did you know that testosterone also increases the gap between the top of the lip and the bottom of the nose? Women with small gaps in that area are considered more attractive (Penelope Cruz, Julia Roberts, etc.)

Omg I wondered if this was just my imagination....  I feel like I'm single handedly keeping Burt's Bees in business lately!  I haven't really noticed them getting any more full yet but definitely drier!  Still hoping for more fullness but it's only a month for me so far.

Well ->-bleeped-<-... with my E levels being over 1300 pg/ml for about a year, my lips should be like 2 bring pillows.

Lip fullness has more to do with estrogen levels across a long span of time and during puberty rather than post-puberty, so it's not as affected by HRT alas. Otherwise those Hollywood celebrities would be popping estrogen rather than collagen injections!
