Thanks -- that's interesting. My level was way high after a month on a starter dose -- my doc lowered it 20%, and the level is still too high. She doesn't want to lower it again just yet, but I'll get the level checked in two months and then we'll reevaluate. I'm OK with that, but I worry about how much is getting converted to estrogen. I think the reason she's not too concerned about E is that, as she kindly put it, my "ovaries are sleeping," which is to say I'm post-menopausal. But I still don't want more of that stuff in my system.
I'm not making any changes in the dosage of the anti-depressants I'm on -- my mood is fine, for which I'm very grateful, so... "if it works, don't fix it." I'm now on a couple of new drugs for unrelated conditions (nothing serious), and it's hard enough as it is to be sure about what's causing what.
I hope you get good news when you get your test results tomorrow, and that you can clear up your mood changes -- that sucks, when going on T oughta be a happy-making thing!
