Okay, so this is all super fast but it needs to be done for me to begin to actually feel happy. I'm going to spend my summer this year as a girl (or try to) but I don't even know where to begin. I don't know how to do my makeup, what clothes to wear, how to straighten my hair much less style it. If anyone could give me links to fashion sites, good videos on makeup, how to style my hair and stuff, etc. I would really appreciate it. I know I can do this on my own and I will but I'm sure lots of you have done the same and have found great stuff. Also can you send any links to videos for helping with my voice? I don't want you all to think I'm lazy or anything. Like I said, I'll be doing it too. I just want to find things fast enough to prepare for the summer. Maybe I'm just stupid for asking, I don't know. Anyway, thank you in advance for helping me whoever does. I'm sorry I asked this on another forum. I just didn't get very many answers on it.

There's a great site for most of this: http://www.youtube.com

Ok, sorry, lol... is there anybody you can count on to help? Honestly the best way to start is to go somewhere and observe how women do everything, like the mall or something. As far as hair and makeup and all that, it really depends on what you have going on appearance wise. The stuff you'll look up may not apply to you because so little is out there that's designed to help MtFs. I could help if I knew you personally because I could tell you what you're doing right and wrong and offer suggestions. But I mean the ideal thing is to find a good friend to do this with.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Best advice is to look at woman.. But don't be creepy when watching them..

Me I researched by sitting in a back of a coffee shop and just watched how woman interact with each other and what styles they wore

The makeup stuff.. I was lucky I had cis-girl friend who showed me.. YouTube has hundreds of tutorials of Beauty tips
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

Alright honey, slow down, too much at once can be overwhelming.

First you need to get your measurements done.  Chest, bust(if you have forms put them on), waist and hips.  Memorize these measurements and recheck them regularly.  These measurements will make or break clothing for you.

Secondly I highly recommend starting small.  Throw out your underwear and make gaffs, wear panties.  Get used to the feeling of a bra (even if you don't have girls).  Start with padded A cups, which will usually give you a "figure" that helps with passing.

Walk slightly pigeon toed.  This will force you into a more womanly walk, you will swing, you'll arch your back (making your but appear larger), and it is good practice for the rhythm you'll require to look good while wearing heels.

Also, don't go over the top with outfits.  Look at what women your age wear when they are at the grocery store, at walmart (okay bad example), at a bar, at a club.  Your first goal should be to simply blend in not to look over-the-top gorgeous.   It is super important to dress your age, not dressing your age is a real good way to get clocked easily.  Remember, to dress as women do you need casual, semi-formal, and formal outfits.  Buy clothes so you can mismatch to make tons of cute outfits.  I personally love tank tops.  A tank can be both casual ad semi-formal depending on other outfit pieces.

With that get a quality wig that is in contemporary style and taste.  The wig is temporary until your hair has grown out.  I cannot stress the importance of a quality wig.  A quality wig will not only be more comfortable for day-to-day wear but will also flow more naturally.  If your hair is already grown out or when it does make sure to get a contemporary hair style that compliments your feminine features while hiding your more masculine features. Every face is different so I can't tell you if long and curly works or short and straight works for you.  Try on different wigs/haircuts until you find what works for you.

If you have gay, cisgender male friends that either drag or crossdress or a transwoman as a friend, their advice is invaluable in the way of makeup and clothing style.

I cannot stress this enough; get a trans support group!  Let me say that again, get a trans support group!  You can learn mountains from some of the women there and develop incredible friendships!

Youtube is your new best friend, to hell with diamonds or dogs.  You can learn from other transwomen or crossdressers any tip you want in the way of makeup.

With that, get two kinds of makeup.  Cheap stuff to practice with and expensive stuff to actually wear.  And practice as often as you can.  A solid makeup remover is also recommended.

If you have sisters, come out to them, chances are they will relish the opportunity to teach their "brother" a thing or two.  The same applies to female friends that you might have.

I'll think of more later, these are essentially the things I did when I started transition.

I will add to the requested makeup tips:

When you are just trying to blend at first (as AM suggests) do searches for "natural everyday look" and/or "everyday makeup look" on youtube. Also here is my favorite makeup tutorialist

is a set of voice exercise videos to get started with voice. I found them to be decently useful. A good primer. Please know too that it can be very damaging to strain your voice. If you feel ANY pain/vocal fatigue at all, give it a rest that day. I really went overboard at first and almost regretted it.

Start beard removal before you do anything else ;)

And GOOD LUCK! I say go as fast as you want!
