~Curiousity Killed The Chat

Would love to talk about a cat
But I realize there's little room for that
You look at me with peering eyes
And I despair, I know
Here comes that awful question
I have grown tired of the talk
But since you're so politely asking
I'll smile kindly
Tell you it's just another path of life I walk
Now in my mind I'm yelling
"Don't treat and see me as unique
Or some gender, sexy special!"
I'd like a chat
A cuddle, some tea
Earned through love and merit
