So yes, I'm flat on my back in a hospital in Brighton, and as of Tuesday, somewhere under that bandage I now have repurposed genitalia - I like to think of it as upcycling . I can't wait to see the results. I'm quietly astounded that after 28 years of conscious waiting, the op only took 2 hours. I'm pretty sore, but that's mostly backache and catheterache and itchy bandages. Listening to Joni Mitchell, drifting on tramadol, and feeling very grateful.
