So yes, I'm flat on my back in a hospital in Brighton, and as of Tuesday, somewhere under that bandage I now have repurposed genitalia - I like to think of it as upcycling :D. I can't wait to see the results. I'm quietly astounded that after 28 years of conscious waiting, the op only took 2 hours. I'm pretty sore, but that's mostly backache and catheterache and itchy bandages. Listening to Joni Mitchell, drifting on tramadol, and feeling very grateful.

Thanks, just had me drains removed (that's an experience and a half) and I'm way more comfortable now. I go home in five days' time.

Congratulations,  and glad to hear you are still alive and kicking.  It's all down hill from here now.
