I'm glad to be home from work.  My feet hurt.

I'm wondering if I should resign after I get top surgery (which I'll probably be able to afford it in about a year and a half with this job) even if I don't have another job lined up yet.  Maybe just use the pay to help pay for my T.  What I'm hoping is either I can get a job at our hospital or at Sears as a backroom associate because from what I know, the actually have insurance that would cover some transgender surgeries.  Plus, I feel that job would be a better fit for me.  Nevertheless I'm just happy to be working.  Once I figure out the budget, my top surgery fund should move a little faster. I'm also wondering if I should save the fund all at one time or raise the majority of it it and then pay the last little bit after my date has been booked.  Hmmm, decisions, decisions....  Well, I have a long time until I have to decide.

I have an elevenish year old cat who does not like change, and I think his noisy opinions right now are probably about how I'm not in bed yet. He likes to climb up on my chest and breath in my face until one of us falls asleep. I'm thinking the internet is correct in both its high esteem of cats and in the general consensus that cats are strange animals.

So a Canadian judge ruled it unconstitutional to make us wait until we have had surgery to change our birth certificate to the correct gender. I was going to have surgery anyway, but I will be able to get it changed sooner. That makes me happy.

i'm thinking i just had my heart ripped out of my chest. i was fine for the first part of the day than bam, this sharp pain just hit me and than my chest felt empty, cold. i even lost my ability to feel anything. i just went completely numb
