are there any ways to stop your period or shorten it without drugs
im not on birthcontrol, and i think im pretty normal-ish on the timing and crap
ive never been to a gynocologist, well i have but i had a panic attack on my first visit and threw my ipad at my mother who was trying to force me on birthcontrol

but im not on testosterone or birthcontrol or anything that would hinder my period

are there any natural ways? such as diets?

my trip to disney is scheduled in the timespan of when my period is in august
i have no idea how to swim or deal in public with a period

im..sort of a introvert who doesnt leave my bedroom much
and i skip school on the weeks of it

I'll assume you don't use tampons then. Before I used tampons a panty liner in the swim suit will suffice until you can get to a bathroom. With swim shorts over top of that no one can tell and it won't get full since the blood will go into the water.

The best you can do is to exercise, drink lots of water, and eat a healthy diet which might make it less painful and maybe not as heavy as it could be. You can't really just stop it though without some sort of medical intervention, if there was a way, lots of cis-women would be looking to do it to. 

Some people try to starve/exercise it away, but it's pretty hard to do and it's extremely unhealthy. Try a tampon or a cup for your trip.

I know you said you didn't want to get on Birth control but I thought I'd give a quick suggestion to put out there. There are non estrogen based bc that you can take that have a higher chance of stopping your time of the month such as the shot(progesterone based)
Of course with anything hormonal there are side effects I'd urge you to look through but if stopping your period at least until you can start T is a thing you're really wanting then this would be a viable option.

Jasper.Beauclair, I feel for you; I am pre-t and have shark week every month.  Some very thin athletic girls have few or no periods due to having a very low body fat %.  I don't recommend trying that method. Then there are the hormone -birth control methods- that will delay or stop it altogether. I don't want to take any female hormones so those are out for me. I use tampons and have since I was about 13 and just bear it every month. With tampons I can forget about it once  I have put one in. I can't see using pads or even a mini pad or liner it would still get wet and then you would feel that wet thing in your swimsuit.  Good luck on your trip.

Stopping periods with extreme dietary restriction and/or exercise is dangerous. It's not worth the risk of damage to your brain, bones, vital organs, etc. Something important could get permanently screwed up, especially if you're still growing.

If you can't stand the idea of using hormones to stop it, try mentally reframing things, or different "sanitary" methods. Some guys prefer insertables (tampons, menstrual cups) because you don't have to see it until it's time to change/clean it (don't delay changing tampons, leaving them in too long increases risk of toxic shock syndrome). For me that stuff was out of the question, but thinking of using pads as changing bandages on an injury helped.

tampons hurt like hell, ive tried many sizes or whatever, i dont even know what the "super" "regular" or anything means
i avoid anything like that with my mom, she gets weird and i get weirded out
right now i just use pads, but like ive said, i havent swam in the years ive been through puberty
i dont know ..i didnt know there were dangers to using tampons o.o
and wtf is a cup?
all this stuff is werid and making me blush just reading it

but uh..with tampons it hurts too much to even walk, or move in the slightest

sex with guys (yeah.. ive played the woman in a relationship with a guy who refused to accept anything masculine about me) is uncomfortable too
even when i get the confidence or boredom or curiousity or whatever it is at the moment, masturbating hurts

Your not pushing the tampon in far enough if it hurts. A pantyliner is a very thin pad. They say pantyliner on the package.

Personally I just get a depo-provera shot.

I second Alex.  Also, Jasper - use Google for things like what a pantyliner or cup are. 

Again, tampons are not supposed to hurt like you're describing.  Even cis-women with severe vaginismus can wear them without pain.  Use the kind that have cardboard applicators.
