Go away for a couple of days and I miss the wild stuff.
Isabell has covered the stuff that is important and I will agree completely that what we go through in the early months is pretty nasty looking and even smelling on occasion. I was one of the latter, who had a perfectly ordinary yeast infection which does produce a distinctive odor that is not pleasant. That changed with getting the infection cleared up with a prescribed med, and Dr. recommended OTC fungicides.
I did not douche per my instructions, but did have one sitz bath per day in clear water during my multiple dilation schedule. I was nearly 6 months along before I stopped NEEDING pads, but at nearing a year and a half, I still carry a couple in my purse. I do however go through two pair of cotton brief panties per day if I am a home or traveling where I can get some privacy. Careful use of toilet paper after urination is also helpful.
