Wow, didn't think it would be this hard to start an introduction! I guess I'll start by saying hi to everyone and telling a little about me. I am 26yo and am MTF but haven't really started transitioning or anything yet other than finally starting to acknowledge how I feel inside. I have been hanging around the forums for the past couple of weeks reading about what other people have been through and it's given me some courage to finally deal with the dysphoria after just pushing it down or feeling miserable inside for as long as I can remember. But enough with the emotions! I sure hope to make a ton of friends here and will love talking with everyone! Thanks for reading!

Sounds about right. Yeah, every new step is kind of terrifying to me, and the first couple were the worst by far. So it's not just you. Since you've lingered a while, you probably have already gotten a lot of perspective from other members' posts. Your experiences are not only valid here, but they are likely shared by a great many.

In other words, you're not alone anymore.

Simple but powerful words, huh? "You're not alone anymore." It's true. You aren't, and neither am I.

If the tears are authentic, Ab, then let them flow. You've held back long enough and there's tons of willing shoulders here.
