game of thrones

so i'm debating on buying the game of throne books to read, since I really like the show and the books are always better than the movies/tv shows, also which book do I start off with first? there's like 5 of them lol

was just wondering if anyone else read them or has any opinions

A Game of Thrones.  That's the first book in the Song of Ice and Fire Saga.  The show took its name from the first book...obviously.  The others are (in order) A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crows, and A Dance With Dragons.

Enjoy!  This is one of my all time favorite series.

Buy the books you will not regret them. Now that I'm up to date so far I sometimes re read only from certin chareters views. (The books are not told in a straight narrative, but more like the tv show you see what is going on through individual peoples eyes.  Pending on what edition/publisher you get of A Storm of Swords it may be broken into two volumes i Steel and Snow, ii Blood and Gold.
After you have read A Dance with Dragons you will become one of us and curse his name to the many Gods mentioned in the book. Waiting for The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring to eventually come out.
