I have been having hot flashes lately, never had them before. Have any of the rest of my brethren had similar experiences after starting t?

A co worker offered me some herbs to help deal with the hot flashes, which was nice and all, because I am not out at work, but it was hard to not laugh or smile.

I am on my 7th week today.

For about year I had hot flashes. Now, I rarely get them but I do occasionally. My core temp when I was younger was always on the low side, but since starting two years ago, it's gone up.

Edit to add: I've never taken anything for them. When I was working in pharmacy, we usually urged people to avoid herbals. It sucks to ride it out, but it they do get more manageable with time.

Hot flashes are definitely part of the package. I get them off and on. I wouldn't take the herbs though... some of that stuff can mimic estrogen in your body.

Yeah, no worries. I wasn't going to take them, it was just sweet of her. And yes, I am unusually young for hot flashes, dear co-worker. ;)

Glad it's not just me.

I had them at the very beginning for the first 1-2 months, and haven't had them since. So it could be the same for you.

Yeah, same as Yaka.  I had them almost immediately after starting T and for about a month or two then - nada.
