Soo, I sent my aunt a message this morning via FB since thats where i keep in touch with all of my extended family and asked if anyone in the extended fam was able to help me with transition/surgery related costs.  I pretty much begged even though that was not my intention.  That i know of, all my extended family are pretty supportive, although how much they can or are willing to help me monetarily i don't know.  I've never asked for a single thing from my family let alone my extended family in my entirely life since ive always been too proud.

Has anyone been this route?   How did it turn out?   Anything that i should consider with this?

Consider this don't ask for money using Facebook. Do it in person or call on the phone. Using Facebook is the weakest ways of communicating. It's almost a cop out.

If I had a number to call or place to visit in person I would.
